During the taping of the "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C., Obama said he has the greatest respect for the Secret Service, 12 agents of which have been accused of misconduct in Cartagena, Colombia, in advance of the Summit of the Americans earlier this month.

"The Secret Service, these guys are incredible," Obama said. "They protect me, they protect our girls. A couple of knuckleheads shouldn't detract from what they do. What they were thinking, I don't know. That's why they're not there anymore."

The taping followed a speech Obama gave at Carmichael Arena where he called on Congress to prevent interest rates on student loans from doubling July 1.

Fallon joked Obama had promised not to pander to UNC students but had changed his campaign slogan from "Yes we can" to "Duke sucks."

The White Stripes and Raconteurs musician is to write, produce and perform the music for the film. This will mark White's first big-screen, score-composing effort, although he has written and performed songs that appeared on movie soundtracks, E! News said.

"We're going to have a little rock n' roll score, and I can't wait to hear his rendition of the 'William Tell Overture,'" Bruckheimer said at CinemaCon, a convention for film critics and theater owners, in Las Vegas.

"We have the classic elements, the big white hat for the Lone Ranger, though he's not wearing his blue suit. But he has his black mask, and he has silver bullets, and of course he has his horse Silver. Everything else is slightly different."
