Matteo Armelini, 31, was killed and two unidentified workers hurt Monday when the stage they were setting up collapsed, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.

No details regarding what caused the mishap were immediately released.

"Writing these words is truly difficult and painful for me," Pausini wrote on her Facebook page.

"I'm in a very strong state of confusion and fragility. Matteo was a rigger, an expert technician, a young guy who was strong, reserved, kind and attentive to make sure that his and our work was better than anyone's. We, your family on tour, bow to you, Matteo, and to the friendship and love that you put into every gesture, the sacrifice and help you gave us. Our mourning is total. It is devastating. Ciao Matteo."

"It has been so rewarding to have my songs embraced by country music artists," Richie said in a statement Monday.

"Since Conway Twitty recorded 'Three Times a Lady' and Kenny Rogers sang 'Lady,' I have been welcomed into the country music family with open arms.

"It's the ultimate compliment to have country artists record and perform songs that I've written. I've always felt right at home in country because I was raised just down the road from Nashville in Tuskegee, Ala., where I was immersed in country, R&B, gospel and classical music."

"Every season is a new haunting," Murphy said. "There are so many great genre subsets of horror ... [and] there's only one rule for the show: no werewolves, no vampires."

"I don't think they've ever done a show where a group of actors then came back the next year and played entirely different people and even called it the same thing. Leave it to Ryan Murphy," TVGuide.com quoted Paulson as saying.

Shooting is to begin in July. Season 2 is expected to start airing on FX in October.
