The show played to rave reviews when it premiered off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop last March.

Based on the best-selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, the Broadway production of "Peter and the Starcatcher" will feature a company of 12 actors playing 50 characters "all on a journey to answer the century-old question: How did Peter Pan become 'the Boy Who Refused to Grow Up?'" the producers said in a news release.
