PETER DINKLAGE: A dwarf crippled in a throwing attack found worldwide fame when fellow actor Peter Dinklage mentioned him in his Golden Globes acceptance speech.

Dinklage, who won a Best Supporting Actor award for his work on HBO's "Game of Thrones," said in his acceptance speech he wanted "to mention a gentleman I'm thinking about in England. His name is Martin Henderson. Google him."

Henderson, who portrayed a goblin in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," was thrown into the air by a drunken reveler while celebrating his 37th birthday outside a pub in Wincanton, England, last October.

Henderson said he now needs crutches or a wheelchair to get around due to the back and leg injuries he sustained, The Sun reported Monday.

"The bloke just came from behind me and picked me up -- the next thing I knew I was going through the air. It was very scary," Henderson said.

HEATHER MILLS: Heather Mills, ex-wife of British singer Paul McCartney and one-time "Dancing with the Stars" competitor, says a benign tumor was discovered in her left leg.

The 44-year-old former model told The Sun newspaper the growth was found after she suffered a recent ski injury.

"An MRI scan picked up a tumor in the top of my left leg, which is the same one I had amputated below the knee," Mills said. "Doctors said it had been there for some time. Thankfully, it was all fine. They told me the tumor was benign."

The Sun did not say what treatment Mills has undergone, or plans to undergo, for the tumor but the newspaper said she still plans to race for the British Disabled Ski Team in Austria this week.

Part of Mills' leg was removed in 1993 after she was hit by a police motorbike.

KID ROCK: Kid Rock apologized for smoking during a show in Michigan, but also extended "a big middle finger" to anyone looking for "an easy paycheck" from the incident.

Concertgoer Randy Snell, a registered nurse who suffers from asthma, told the Detroit News at least one patron demanded Kid Rock stop smoking his cigar, while others left the 1,000-seat Andiamo Celebrity Showroom during Friday's concert by country star Travis Tritt.

Snell said he called the owner Saturday, but hasn't heard back from him. The nurse said he plans to file a complaint with health officials.

"It's a violation of a state law, and people paid good money to come to a non-smoking venue, but they were not treated to a non-smoking venue," Snell told the newspaper. "Special privileges were extended in disregarding the law."

Rock issued an apology Monday through his publicist, Nick Stern.

"I doubt I'm the first one to ever make a bad decision while being intoxicated, so he without fault please cast the first stone," Rock said. "My most sincere apologies to the patrons I may have offended, and a big middle finger in advance to all the haters and attorneys who will somehow try to find an easy paycheck in all this."

'FRED:' U.S. cable network Nickelodeon says it has licensed 21 11-minute episodes of "Fred: The Show," a new comedy series created by and starring Lucas Cruikshank.

Cruikshank became an Internet sensation for his Fred Figglehorn videos. He later made a guest appearance on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and headlined the network's TV movies "Fred: The Movie" and "Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred."

In addition to "Fred: The Show," Nickelodeon said it ordered a new pilot called "Marvin," which also will be a starring vehicle for Cruikshank.

The shows were announced Monday by Marjorie Cohn, the network's president of original programming and development.

"Lucas is an immensely talented actor and comedian whose unique brand of humor is a proven winner with our audience," Cohn said in a statement. "The 11-minute format of 'Fred: The Show' will be a great showcase for more of his signature adventures."
