NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- The Broadway production of "Relatively Speaking," three one-act comedies by Ethan Coen, Elaine May and Woody Allen, is to close this month, producers said.
Directed by John Turturro, the show will play its final performance Jan. 29, following 35 previews and 118 regular performances, it was announced Wednesday.
In its final weeks, beginning Jan. 17, "Relatively Speaking" will play a new performance schedule, featuring 7 p.m. performances Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Friday and Saturday performances will continue at 8 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees Wednesday and Saturday, and a 3 p.m. matinee Sunday, as well.
The world premiere production began previews Sept. 20 and opened Oct. 20 at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
The ensemble cast includes Steve Guttenberg, Julie Kavner, Richard Libertini, Mark Linn-Baker, Grant Shaud and Marlo Thomas.
