The latest news on today's hottest celebrities ... Taylor Swift was named Entertainer of the Year at the 45th annual Country Music Association Awards show in Nashville Wednesday.
Swift, 21, previously won the title in 2009.
"One of my favorite things about this year is all the camaraderie between all these artists that I could call and say, 'Hey, do you want to come sing with me?'" Swift said upon receiving her award. "And there were more artists who showed up just out of the goodness of their heart and came out and performed for the fans at my shows."
Swift then read the names of people who had performed with her, written on her hand.
"You have made my year! Thank you so much!" she said.
The Band Perry took home the awards for New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for "If I Die Young."
"We promise to keep working hard every day out on the road and here in Nashville to earn this award," the group's lead singer Kimberly Perry said.
After she earned the Song of the Year honor for penning the song, she said: "I truly believe that 'If I Die Young' would have been written with or without me. It was a song that was meant to be. But I was so excited to have pen and paper in hand when it was ready to come to earth."
Jason Aldean's "My Kinda Party" won the prize for Album of the Year, while Sugarland was named Vocal Duo of the Year and Lady Antebellum was presented with the Vocal Group of the Year gong.
Married recording stars Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert picked up matching Male Vocalist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year statuettes.
Country music stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood served as co-hosts of the event at the Bridgestone Arena.
BRIAN GRAZER: Brian Grazer is to replace Brett Ratner as producer of Hollywood's 84th Academy Awards show, organizers announced Wednesday.
Grazer, director Ron Howard's longtime collaborator, will share producing duties with Don Mischer for the Feb. 26 Oscars ceremony.
Ratner, with whom Grazer worked on the big-screen comedy "Tower Heist," this week bowed out of producing the Academy Awards telecast after he created a media firestorm by publicly using a slang word for gays.
Eddie Murphy, one of the stars of "Tower Heist," was to serve as host of the Oscars, but quit Wednesday in the wake of Ratner's resignation. His replacement has not yet been announced.
"Brian Grazer is a renowned filmmaker who over the past 25 years has produced a diverse and extraordinary body of work," Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak said in a statement. "He will certainly bring his tremendous talent, creativity and relationships to the Oscars."
"I am thrilled to welcome Brian Grazer as my partner and that we will be collaborating to produce an outstanding show," added Mischer.
"It's very gratifying to be part of a show that honors excellence in the medium to which I have devoted so much of my career," said Grazer. "Don is a legend, and I am excited to work with him."
Grazer won a Best Picture Oscar in 2001 for "A Beautiful Mind." In 1984, he was nominated in the writing category for "Splash," and he received Best Picture nominations for "Apollo 13" in 1995 and "Frost/Nixon" in 2008.
ZSA ZSA GABOR: Zsa Zsa Gabor, the ailing Hungarian-born actress, was hospitalized again Wednesday, her husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt said.
Gabor, whose film credits include "Touch of Evil" and "Moulin Rouge," has been hospitalized with numerous health issues, including blood clots, since she broke her hip last year. Most of the 94-year-old actress' right leg was amputated in January because of gangrene.
Von Anhalt told TMZ she was taken to a Los Angeles-area hospital Wednesday after blood began to spill out of the feeding tube in her stomach.
Gabor was hospitalized for the same complaint less than a month ago.
JESSICA SIMPSON: Pregnant U.S. recording star Jessica Simpson says she plans to wed fiance Eric Johnson after their first child is born.
"We were always going to wait [until] after the baby," Simpson told UsMagazine.com Wednesday.
"We flirted around with different dates before I found out I was pregnant, and, thankfully, we didn't lock anything down. I want to enjoy the day," she said. "I'm glad we didn't make a deposit. ... I just didn't want to be stressed out. ... Now when I get stressed out, it's like 50 times worse. So I really want to enjoy that day and now I get to have my baby with me."
The couple have been engaged for a year. They have not disclosed their baby's gender or anticipated birth date.
