Deion Sanders denies divorce rumors

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Former U.S. football star Deion Sanders says he and wife Pilar are still married and no divorce is pending.

Sanders told TMZ.com he has not filed for divorce even though the dreaded topic has come up between him and his wife.

TMZ said the rumor mill has the Sanderses on the rocks. Deion did not deny the couple have had issues but denied rumors of infidelity.

"Sometimes you just grow apart," Sanders said.
