LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Soccer star David Beckham says he and his wife, Victoria, aren't ruling out adding to their family following this year's arrival of daughter Harper Seven.

The idea of another child was kicked around by Beckham in an appearance this week on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in the United States, People magazine said Saturday.

"If we were lucky enough to have another one, it would be great," Beckham said on Friday's appearance. "We have always spoke about having a big family."

Harper arrived in July and was given her father's longtime soccer uniform number, seven, as a middle name. She also weighed more than 7 pounds and was born at 7:44 a.m. in Los Angeles.

DeGeneres noted that five kids plus two parents equaled seven and speculated that was Beckham's master plan.

"What can say?" Beckham responded. "I love the number seven."
