The limited engagement is to run through Feb. 5.

Best known for her work on TV's "Sex and the City," Cattrall starred as Amanda in Eyre's production of "Private Lives" at London's Vaudeville Theatre in 2010. The production will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre prior to Broadway, the play's producers noted in a news release Wednesday.

Gross will play the role of Elyot. The Canadian actor has starred in such TV shows as "Due South" and "Slings and Arrows."

The "Private Lives" cast also includes Simon Paisley Day, Anna Madeley and Caroline Olsson.

The play is about a divorced couple who rekindle their romance while honeymooning with their new spouses in the South of France.
