'How to Succeed' stagehand dies

NEW YORK, June 23 (UPI) -- A stagehand for "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" died of an apparent drug overdose in the musical's Broadway theater, police said.

The show's Wednesday night performance was canceled as a result of the 29-year-old man's death and ticket-holders will be issued refunds, The New York Times reported.

A spokesman for the production told the newspaper the stagehand's name would be withheld pending notification of his family.

The musical, which stars Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette, was to have marked its 100th performance Wednesday night.
