Judge drops Katherine Ross order request

HOLLYWOOD, April 3 (UPI) -- A judge in Los Angeles dismissed a restraining order filed by actress Katharine Ross against her daughter, whom Ross says stabbed her with scissors.

Earlier this month Ross, perhaps best known for her role opposite Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate," filed for a temporary restraining order against Cleo Rose Elliott, her 26-year-old daughter with husband actor Sam Elliott, .

Because Ross and Elliott did not show up in Los Angeles County Superior Court for an assigned date earlier this week, the judge dismissed the case, TMZ.com reported Sunday.
