LOS ANGELES, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- The former staffer at California's Betty Ford Center involved in an incident with Lindsay Lohan says she is dropping her criminal complaint against the actress.

TMZ.com reported Friday Dawn Holland made the decision after being fired from her job as a chemical dependency technician at the center for violating confidentiality guidelines earlier this week.

Keith Davidson, Holland's lawyer said the matter was being dropped because "a crime has quite simply not been committed by Ms. Lohan," People.com reported.
