ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Pop singer Kelly Clarkson canceled a Minnesota State Fair performance after suffering from voice-related problems, the St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press reported.

The newspaper said the "American Idol" winner showed up for a sound check at the Grandstand venue in St. Paul Sunday afternoon, but decided not to go on with the evening show after talking to a doctor about her voice concerns.
