Director to be at Toronto fest via video

TORONTO, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- A spokesman for the Toronto International Film Festival says Danish director Lars von Trier will appear via a video link to speak about his movie "Antichrist."

The unidentified festival spokesman said Friday members of the media and the general public will be able to speak with von Trier about his horror film during a 90-minute, live video link-up, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The "Antichrist" director won't attend the festival because of a well-documented fear of flying.

Festival organizers said they anticipate "Antichrist" will enjoy a highly anticipated screening at the Toronto festival that runs Sept. 10-19.

The Reporter said the festival will also include free concerts by singers Neil Young and Joan Baez.

Young will perform Sept. 14 as the film "The Neil Young Trunk Show" debuts at the festival. Baez will perform following a festival screening of the documentary "Joan Baez: How Sweet the Sound."
