'Late Late Show' going high-def

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," which is taped in Los Angeles, will soon be broadcast in high-definition, CBS announced Monday.

The change is set to take place Aug. 31.

"That evening will also mark the debut of a new show opener, featuring Craig Ferguson in several iconic Los Angeles locations, scored to an updated version of the current show theme song," the network said in a news release.
