LOS ANGELES, June 4 (UPI) -- The wife of famed U.S. record producer and convicted murderer Phil Spector says they married in the room where actress Lana Clarkson died.

Phil Spector, 69, was sentenced to 19 years to life in prison for killing Clarkson in his Los Angeles-area mansion in 2003.

The TV program "Inside Edition" said 28-year-old Rachelle Spector took it on an exclusive tour of the home, including the foyer where Clarkson died and where Phil and Rachelle were married in 2006.

"Inside Edition" said the couple exchanged vows a few feet from where Clarkson's body laid. It also reported the bureau where Phil kept his gun is now covered with wedding photos.

Rachelle told the TV program in an interview airing Thursday that she was not superstitious about getting married in the room where Clarkson died.

"I had my mind on happier things," she said, adding she doesn't mind being alone in the 15,000-square-foot, 35-room medieval-style mansion. "I don't find it scary. It's our home."
