LONDON, May 17 (UPI) -- Italian artist Paola Pivi says she wants 1,000 people to come together outside the Tate Modern in London to scream in unison.
Pivi, who lives in Alaska, said she had found 700 people so far to take part in the May 25 performance titled "1,000," The Sunday Times of London reported. While some are expected to scream their opposition to China's domination of Tibet, others will just let loose with whatever inspires them, the newspaper said.
"I liked the notion of all these different people coming together to perform something completely unrehearsed," Pivi said.
Those taking part in the performance art piece come from charities, community groups and campaign organizations, The Times said.
Pivi assured the newspaper her work, which is part of a festival of public art at the London museum, was not coordinated to disturb the public.
