Michael Landon's son Mark dead at 60

LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) -- Mark Landon, eldest son of the late iconic television actor Michael Landon, was found dead in his West Hollywood, Calif., home, officials said. Landon was 60.

No cause for Landon's death has been disclosed, however, CNN reported foul play is not suspected.

His father, Michael Landon, is best known for his work on TV's "Bonanza," "Little House on the Prairie" and "Highway to Heaven." He adopted Mark after marrying his mother Dodie Frasier in 1956. Michael Landon died of cancer in 1991.

Mark Landon, whose body was discovered Monday afternoon, had bit parts in several movies, including "Us," a film his dad starred in and directed, CNN said.
