NEWARK, N.J., April 10 (UPI) -- A New Jersey woman is denying her estranged husband's allegations that she had an affair with married rocker Bruce Springsteen.

Ann Kelly's husband, Arthur, said in divorce papers that his wife committed adultery with Springsteen "at various times and places too numerous to mention."

The woman's attorney, Noel Tonneman, told People magazine: "My client absolutely denies having an affair with Bruce Springsteen. These are baseless allegations of a jealous man. And that's all there is to it."

Tonneman said Kelly and Springsteen go to the same gym.

"That's it," Tonneman added.

People.com said Springsteen, who has been married to E Street Band member Patti Scialfa for 17 years, Thursday reiterated a statement he made when he was previously accused of infidelity in 2006.

The statement read: "Patti and I have been together for 18 years -- the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."
