Lohan's father concerned for her welfare

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 15 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, says he is concerned for his daughter's well-being in the wake of her being targeted by an arrest warrant.

The elder Lohan said Saturday with an arrest warrant being issued for his daughter in Beverly Hills, Calif., he is growing increasingly concerned with who she is spending her time with, UsMagazine.com reported.

"I feel like when you're around the right people, you do the right thing, when you're around the wrong people, you do the wrong thing," Michael Lohan said. "(But) she'll deal with (the warrant) like she has to. She's not going to ignore it."

The arrest warrant was issued Friday in relation to a May 2007 incident that led to driving under the influence and hit-and-run charges, police said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Lohan's father appeared to reserve his most critical comments for disc jockey Samantha Ronson, a close friend of the actress.

"Mark my words, as long as Samantha Ronson is in Lindsay's life, nothing is going to go right!" Lohan told UsMagazine.com.
