NEW YORK, March 15 (UPI) -- Octogenarian British actress Angela Lansbury is retaking the stage in a Broadway revival of the comedy "Blithe Spirit."

The four-time Tony winner plays psychic Madame Arcati, Playbill reported. The Noel Coward comedy begins regular performances at the Shubert Theatre starting Sunday night.

Other notable stars in the production, which began previews Feb. 26, include two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole and Hollywood actor Rupert Everett.

The stage production will represent the Broadway debut for Everett, whose film credits include "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "An Ideal Husband."

"Blithe" will also serve as reunion for Lansbury, 83, and director Michael Blakemore, who previously worked together on a production of "Deuce."

Playbill said the comedy follows novelist Charles Condomine and his second wife, Ruth, who must deal with Condomine's deceased first wife whose ghost is conjured up by Arcati.
