LOS ANGELES, March 12 (UPI) -- Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez were eliminated Wednesday night from the top 13 on "American Idol."

E! News said host Ryan Seacrest told the contestants and audience that judges Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson this season will be allowed to make a one-time only save if they feel someone has been voted off by viewers prematurely. Two contestants would then be eliminated from the episode following a save, Seacrest explained.

However, the judges didn't invoke the save privilege Wednesday and both Murray and Nunez were sent packing.
