LOS ANGELES, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Singer Nick Lachey says his upcoming album "Coming Up for Air" will feature a duet with "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi.

"She and I wrote (the track called 'Temporary') together," Lachey said in an interview for "Access Hollywood" and nationally syndicated radio's "The Billy Bush Show."

"Initially, just in the studio, we thought, 'All right, let's sing it together and then we'll maybe find someone else to be on it.' But she did such a great job on it. She is one of the more talented people I've ever had the pleasure of working with and just a great, down to earth person, as well. I'm very happy for her that she's getting this opportunity and, hopefully, this song will be big for both of us."
