SEATTLE, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is the celebrity the largest percentage of respondents to a poll said they would like to have as a neighbor.

The December survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults was conducted by Harris Interactive and commissioned by the real estate Web site Zillow.com.

Fourteen percent of respondents said they would like to live next door to the former U.S. vice presidential candidate. Following close behind, 13 percent said their dream neighbor is talk-show host Oprah Winfrey. Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Michael Phelps, movie star couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and sit-com star and scribe Tina Fey rounded out the top five roster of desirable neighbors.

Nineteen percent of respondents said they think pop star Britney Spears would make the worst celebrity neighbor. This is the second year in a row she has earned this dubious distinction, Zillow.com noted.

Controversial comedian Rosie O'Donnell garnered 18 percent of the vote, snagging the No. 2 spot on the "worst neighbor" list. Rounding out the top five on that roster are the 2008 presidential campaign's "Joe the Plumber," actress Lindsay Lohan and football player Adam "Pacman" Jones.
