LONDON, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- The presence of celebrities at actress Charlize Theron's charity domino night in London is part of a growing trend, a Web site suggests.
The Web site for the new Hollywood domino fundraising method said the appearance of actress Sienna Miller and model Eva Herzigova, among others, at this week's domino event represents a new trend of celebrity game nights, The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday.
Friday's event also was expected to attract Hollywood stars Josh Hartnett and Penelope Cruz, and singer Natalie Imbruglia.
Theron helped organize the charity event, based on a new Hollywood-themed version of the classic game, to benefit her Africa Outreach Project.
The London event included gaming tables for attending celebrities and other guests to battle it out in the hopes of winning the night's big prize, an 18-carat gold and white diamond-encrusted charm bracelet.
The Telegraph said a similar domino event is to take place Sunday in New York.
