LONDON, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber says while intimidated, he is prepared to create Britain's next entry for the Eurovision song contest.
The 60-year-old British composer, known for his Broadway and Hollywood musical scores, said he intends to create a Eurovision entry that could earn Britain a crown in the international contest, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
"In my life I have never shied away from the impossible and this looks like the biggest mission impossible of all time," Webber said, "but with the might of the British public behind me who knows what will happen?"
But before the contest occurs, Webber will conduct a televised talent search to find the right individual to bring his musical creation to life.
The contest from Webber will be called "Your Country Needs You" and will be hosted by noted TV star Graham Norton, the Telegraph said.
The winner will win the right to sing Webber's song in Moscow next year, the British newspaper said.
