LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- British singer-songwriter Dido is releasing a new album after a five-year absence from the music world, her U.S. record company said Friday.

Her new effort is called "Safe Trip Home" and is set for a Nov. 4 release. It was recorded in Los Angeles and London and co-produced by Jon Brion, Ark (the new production company of Rollo Armstrong) and by Dido, Artista Records said in a release.

The record also features a song co-written with legendary music producer Brian Eno. Arista said a free download of the new song "Look No Further" became available Friday on Dido's official Web site.

Dido's album has been postponed several times due to the death of her father in December 2006, the BBC reported. It said her first album, 1999's "No Angel," was the biggest debut album by a British female artist. In 2005 Dido performed at the Live 8 concert in London.
