LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Valerie Bertinelli says has signed to star in a new sitcom for TBS about a single mom trying to run a business, the network says.
Bertinelli, a two-time Golden Globe Award winner, will star in the still-unnamed comedy from writer/executive producer Dave Caplan, who earlier created The Bill Engvall Show for TBS. Michael Wright, senior vice president in charge of the Content Creation Group for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies, said Caplan will serve as the new show's executive producer along with Original Film's Neal Moritz and Vivian Cannon.
