Heston's 'Commandments' sold for $63K

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- The tablets Charlton Heston carried in the classic Hollywood film "The Ten Commandments" have been sold for $69,000, auctioneers Profiles in History said.

The famous movie props were purchased by Triviamania.com, which also bought the Holy Grail from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" for $25,875.

Also sold at the auction last week were a "Star Wars" T.I.E. fighter miniature, which went for $402,500, and a signed photo of 16th U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, which sold for $207,000, the company said.

A manuscript autographed by James Bond creator Ian Fleming sold for $74,750; a full-scale animatronic male Velociraptor used in "Jurassic Park III" went for $69,000; the hoverboard Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly character used in "Back to the Future" Parts II & III sold for $63,250; Ben Affleck's superhero costume from "Daredevil" went for $57,500 and Roald Dahl's original working manuscript of his James Bond screenplay, "You Only Live Twice" sold for $48,875.

All prices include a 15 percent buyer's premium, the auction house said.
