ROME, July 20 (UPI) -- A movie focusing on the life of Luciano Pavarotti will soon be in production following the resolution of a will dispute, the Italian tenor's widow says.
Nicoletta Mantovani said she will create a film about her late husband's life now that she has settled a bitter estate battle with Pavarotti's three daughters, The Sunday Telegraph reported.
Pavarotti's children from a previous marriage -- Lorenza, Cristina and Giuliana -- had contested the singer's will, which had stipulated half of his estimated $500 million estate was to go to Mantovani.
Mantovani said she is recovering from the loss of her husband, who died last September of pancreatic cancer at the age of 71, and wants to honor him with a movie.
"I want to make one about Luciano. It will be a made for TV production and it will be an international production," she told the British newspaper.
"I don't want to say too much at the moment because it's still very early but I will have a role as consultant, as well. I have no idea who will play Luciano because for someone who knew him so well, like me, it will be hard to find someone who will be just like he was."
