TCM to honor FBI with movie marathon

HOLLYWOOD, July 7 (UPI) -- Turner Classic Movies says it plans to mark this month's 100th anniversary of the U.S. Federal Bureau Investigation by airing a marathon of FBI-themed films.

Among the movies to be presented are "G Men," with James Cagney; "Confessions of a Nazi Spy," starring Edward G. Robinson; "Walk East on Beacon," based on an article written by former FBI head J. Edgar Hoover; and "Down Three Dark Streets," featuring Broderick Crawford.

The films are to air July 24 on TCM, the cable channel said.
