Nanny allegations fill Lowe court papers

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., June 28 (UPI) -- A nanny suing TV star Rob Lowe for alleged sexual harassment has been accused of being sexually promiscuous, California court documents show.

Santa Barbara County Superior Court documents detail allegations made by two of Lowe's other employees that focus on alleged sexual advances made by nanny Jessica Gibson while she was employed by the "Brothers & Sisters" star, People magazine reported Friday.

Tennis instructor Nigel Armstrong and private chef James Maclear, who both worked for the Lowe family, allege Gibson repeatedly acted in a sexual manner with them despite the nearby presence of Lowe's children.

Lowe's wife Sheryl also has alleged she repeatedly found Gibson acting in a sexually provocative manner with her husband, People reported.

Gibson's attorney, Gloria Allred, told the magazine the new accusations were mere attempts to discredit her client and weaken her client's lawsuit.

"This appears to be an attempt to distract from the real issue, which is our allegations of sexual harassment by Rob Lowe of Jessica Gibson, and retaliation against her when she complained of it," Allred said.
