CULVER CITY, Calif., June 12 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Brad Garrett is producing and starring in his first online series, a reality show called "Dating Brad Garrett," Sony Pictures Television said.

Garrett is best known for playing Robert Barone on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and Eddie Stark on "'Til Death."

The new 10-episode Web series will follow Garrett on blind dates with 10 women, chosen from applicants who submit their own original videos to http://www.crackle.com/datebrad, Sony said.

A panel of Garrett "experts" -- including his ex-wife and urologist, among others -- will review the submissions and decide which applicants get to go out with the comedian.

"An online dating show seemed like a logical choice given that I'm in the midst of a mid-life crisis, and adverse to pain, which makes getting my ear pierced out of the question," Garrett said in a statement. "And since I'm not picky about my choices, I hope women of all sizes, shapes and colors will be compelled to submit their videos."

The series is to premiere this fall on Crackle.com, YouTube, AOL Video, Hulu, Verizon Wireless' V CAST Video service, AT&T Wireless and direct to Sony BRAVIA TVs over BRAVIA Internet Video Link.
