NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) -- U.S. television personality Star Jones is set to preside over a Season 2 "Bad Girls Club" cast reunion show, Oxygen announced.

The one-hour special, which was filmed in front of a live audience in Los Angeles, is to air May 20 on the network.

"A smart mix of prosecutor and even-keeled facilitator, Star Jones is the perfect host for this special," Oxygen's Amy Introcaso-Davis said in a statement. "We were looking for someone who could cut through the clutter and get real with the girls -- Star fits that bill."

Jones is an ex-prosecutor best known as a former long-time co-host on TV's "The View."

She was most recently the executive editor and host of "The Star Jones Show," a daily news and information talk show on truTV, formerly Court TV.

"The Bad Girls Club" challenges seven "bad girls" in their early- to mid-20s -- who say they want to change their ways -- to live together in a Los Angeles mansion, Oxygen said.
