Danner: Paltrow, Martin doing fine

NEW YORK, April 3 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Blythe Danner said her daughter Gwyneth Paltrow and her British rocker husband Chris Martin are not splitting up, contrary to media reports.

"Good god, it's just so tragic that people have to make up stuff," Danner told Usmagazine.com. "I've never seen two happier parents -- or people -- so I don't get it."

The couple has two children, daughter Apple who is nearly 4 and son Moses who is about to turn 2.

"They're pretty fabulous," Danner said of her grandchildren. "Yesterday my little grandson says: 'Don't go! Don't go!' You just don't get that kind of love from everybody."
