'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to mark 1,000th show

LOS ANGELES, April 2 (UPI) -- Eva Longoria Parker, Richard Simmons and Kid Rock are slated to help host Jimmy Kimmel celebrate the 1,000th episode of his U.S. late-night talk show.

The milestone, 90-minute installment of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is to air Thursday.

ABC said viewers can look forward to a musical performance by Kid Rock and a special comedy piece featuring Kimmel and fitness guru Richard Simmons.
