LOS ANGELES, March 10 (UPI) -- Television actress Heather Locklear is reportedly fine after emergency workers were called to her Los Angeles-area home Saturday night, TMZ.com said.

The celebrity news Web site reported someone who allegedly spoke to her on the phone earlier "feared Heather would try and kill herself" and called 911.

"I spoke with Heather and she is fine. She never requested medical assistance and did not place a 911 call," Locklear's representative said in a statement issued to TMZ.com. "Nor did anyone from her house call 911 or place a call requesting medical assistance."

Ventura County Police Captain Tom Convey told Usmagazine.com police responded to the call, but "the incident was resolved, and we left."

Locklear has starred on "Dynasty," "Melrose Place" and "Spin City."
