NEW YORK, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Jackie Gleason Enterprises announced it has set up an official Web site in honor of the late U.S. television and film star Jackie Gleason.
The Web site's debut coincided with the Feb. 26 birthday of "The Honeymooners" actor.
JackieGleason.com was designed and programmed by FeverPitch Media Group Inc. and features character clips, photos and licensing information.
FeverPitch said it is to be a constantly evolving Web site which will ultimately serve as an online museum for "The Great One."
"This has been in the works for quite some time and we are simply thrilled to launch what we consider to be a fitting online tribute to a legendary visionary in the entertainment industry," Geraldine Chutuk, daughter of Gleason and managing director of Jackie Gleason Enterprises, said in a statement. "Finally, my father is going to have an official home where fans from years past can relive all the great moments, and new fans can discover his magic for the first time."
Gleason died in 1987 at the age of 71.
