While Grant gained some notoriety for photographing the "Some Like It Hot" star, he also earned a strong reputation for photographing atom bomb tests and Academy Awards ceremonies.

Grant also photographed Marina Oswald, wife of notorious assassin Lee Harvey Oswald, shortly after her husband shot and killed President John F. Kennedy in 1963.

The Times said Grant, who died Feb. 1, is survived by his wife; a daughter, two sons and three grandchildren.
