Showtime wants 3rd season of 'Brotherhood'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Showtime has ordered a third season of "Brotherhood," its hit U.S. television drama, starring Jason Isaacs, Jason Clarke and Annabeth Gish.

gritty, political-crime drama, which is shot entirely on location in Providence, R.I.

The series follows the Caffee brothers, who are on opposite sides of the law, but both determined to protect the neighborhood and what is theirs by any means necessary.

"'Brotherhood' is one of our shining hours at Showtime -- a drama series that is among the highest quality shows offered anywhere on television, and we're proud to keep it firmly in our portfolio," Robert Greenblatt, president of Entertainment Showtime Networks Inc., said in a statement.
