NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- A representative for U.S. actress Gwyneth Paltrow confirmed she spent some time at a New York hospital Monday, but won't reveal why.
"Yes, she was at the hospital and is fine and now at home," the actress' spokesperson told People.com. Asked the reason for the stay, the rep said only, "No comment; it is personal."

Paltrow, a 35-year-old married mother of two, won an Oscar for her performance in the period romance "Shakespeare in Love."
She has also starred in the films "Sliding Doors," "Possession," "Emma" and "Bounce."
