BEIJING, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Five U.S. movie studios are seeking more than $432,000 in a copyright infringement suit against a Beijing online movie provider and a Shanghai Internet cafe.
Columbia Pictures Corp., Universal City Studios, 20th Century Fox Film Corp., Paramount Pictures Corp. and Disney Enterprises Inc. claim in their Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court suit that the online movie provider, Jeboo.com, encouraged the cafe to break copyright laws and broadcast the films without the approval of the studios, Shanghai Daily reported Thursday.
