LONDON, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Britain's Prince Harry was seen partying at a London nightclub recently despite having just broken up with his longtime girlfriend.
Just as most of Harry's relationship with Chelsy Davy had gone, the two were seen partying at separate nightclubs shortly after they agreed to undergo a trial separation from one another, The Mail on Sunday said.
One of Davy's close friends said the Zimbabwean beauty simply needed time away from the British prince for increased introspection.
"She kept saying she needed to take some time out to re-establish herself," the unidentified friend said. "She still loves him, but she feels she needs to carve an identity as her own person rather than as Prince Harry's girlfriend."
Yet a senior aide close to the royal family painted a different picture, saying the couple had gone their separate ways for good.
"The relationship is over. It has simply run its course," the unidentified aide told the newspaper. "Harry will be carrying on his Army career and Chelsy will continue her studies."
