LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Country music star Tim McGraw said it was "disrespectful" when a female fan groped him during a concert in Louisiana earlier this year.
While McGraw's wife, singer Faith Hill, was immediately critical of the unidentified woman's actions during the July 28 concert, McGraw waited until this week to publicly discuss the unusual incident, People magazine said Friday.
"I just kind of thought it was disrespectful, not only to me and to my wife but to herself," McGraw said recently.
The "Indian Outlaw" singer had temporarily left off the stage during the concert, when the aggressive fan reached out and groped him.
The act immediately caught the attention of Hill, who chastised the woman in front of the entire audience for her ill-conceived decision.
"Somebody needs to teach you some class, my friend," Hill told the overly hands-on fan.
