Spears' visitation rights restored

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- U.S. pop star Britney Spears has won back visitation rights with her two sons, TMZ.com reported.

Spears' attorney, Anne Kiley, confirmed the singer is again allowed to visit her children, however, Kiley didn't offer details regarding the arrangement.

Spears was seen driving with her boys during the weekend.

An individual believed to be a court-appointed monitor was seated in the front seat, while Spears' sons were in the rear of the car, People.com said.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon last week temporarily suspended Spears' visitation rights. A source close to Spears told People she lost her rights because she was unreachable by a cell phone designated for court-related scheduling.

Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said shortly after the ruling that he expected Spears would get visitation reinstated soon because "she has complied with the part of the order (that led to the suspension.)"

Another custody hearing is scheduled for Friday.

Spears and Federline -- her ex-husband and the father of her sons -- are both required to appear, People.com said.
