VENICE, Italy, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt, at the Venice Film Festival to promote his latest film, told reporters in the Italian city he's ready to expand his family.
Pitt, partner Angelina Jolie and their four children arrived at the festival during the weekend. When asked by Italian state television whether he and Jolie were ready for a fifth child, Pitt said, "Yeah, we're ready," People magazine reported Monday.
Pitt's latest film, "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford," is up for the festival's Golden Lion top award. Pitt, who co-produced and stars as Jesse James in the film, said having a family has helped his career.
"It makes me much more efficient," Pitt told reporters, "because that's the main focus. It makes me feel when I do have time to work, I really do have to focus because there is a really short window to get something done. I am quite pleased by it all."
