Spears' ex-manager hides to avoid subpoena

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Britney Spears' former manager has so far evaded a subpoena from the pop star's ex-husband's Los Angeles defense team, telling a reporter he's "on vacation."

Kevin Federline, seeking physical custody of his and Spears' two sons, has served subpoenas on several of Spears' former employees. However, ex-manager Larry Rudolph told Access Hollywood he was "on vacation" and "hiding out from Kevin's processors."

“When I come back, I’m sure they’ll find me,” he said.

If subpoenaed, Rudolph would join Spears' former bodyguard Damien Shippen, her former assistant Shannon Funk, her friend Alli Sims and Promises, the rehabilitation facility where Spears sought treatment.

Rudolph may not be the only one trying to get beyond K-Fed's reach.

Several Internet reports indicate Spears is in Belgium, while others report that she's considering moving to London to escape the custody battle over sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
