'FamilyTies' star, girlfriend reunited

BOULDER, Colo., July 27 (UPI) -- Ex-child star Brian Bonsall and his girlfriend may live together -- a Colorado judge lifted an order keeping them apart in an assault case.

The protection order was issued following a March 28 incident in which Bonsall, 25, of Boulder allegedly poured an alcoholic drink in Lindsey Dunavan's face as she slept, and then put her in a choke hold and threw her into a bed, The Boulder Daily Camera reported.

Boulder District Judge Lael Montgomery Friday ruled that Bonsall can live with Dunavan because the couple's therapist is OK with it, the newspaper reported.

Bonsall, who played Andy Keaton in the TV comedy "Family Ties" from 1986-1989, was quiet during the hearing, but a happy Dunavan pumped her fists after the judge's ruling.

Bonsall still faces an Aug. 31 arraignment on charges of felony menacing, third-degree assault, false imprisonment and obstruction of telephone service stemming from the incident.
