DAYTON, Ohio, July 21 (UPI) -- Tours of the home where aviation pioneer Orville Wright lived in Dayton, Ohio, will begin in September.

The tours at Wright's home -- known as Hawthorn Hill -- are set to run year-round on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning Sept. 1. They are intended to allow visitors to see where Wright lived and worked, The Dayton Daily News reported Saturday.

"This is about the man, who he was and where he lived," said spokeswoman Amanda Wright Lane, a trustee of the Wright Family Foundation, which owns Hawthorn Hill. "Being the kind of man he was, he was intimately engaged in the design of the house."
