SEATTLE, July 16 (UPI) -- Starbucks Entertainment and NBC Universal Television are working together on their first business venture -- the DVD, "Saturday Night Live: The Best of '06/'07."
The DVD set will feature the comic talents of Amy Poehler, Seth Meyers and Darrell Hammond, as well as never-before-seen bonus material such as dress rehearsal footage and commentary by the cast of the legendary, late-night sketch comedy show.
Also included is a bonus "30 Rock" DVD, which features the "Black Tie" episode, and deleted scenes from the NBC sitcom's first season.
Created by "SNL" alum Tina Fey, "30 Rock" is a fictionalized account of what it is like to work on a sketch comedy show.
Starbucks and NBC said in a statement the new DVD set will be sold exclusively in Starbucks Corporation-operated locations in the United States, starting Aug. 28.
This marks the first time NBC Universal Television Distribution has created an exclusive DVD release for a retailer.
The DVD package is produced by Broadway Video Enterprises and NBC Universal.
